Travis Smith Out as Trivium Drummer?

Reports are currently circulating that “Trivium have acrimoniously parted ways with drummer Travis Smith.” While unconfirmed at this point, it appears the Floridian metallers have parted ways with the longtime drummer who sat out the band’s most recent tour.

Smith did not travel with Trivium on their most recent trek with Chimaira, Whitechapel and Dirge Within in order to tend to “personal business,” and the band enlisted Maruta drummer and former Trivium drum tech Nick Augusto to fill in.
